Fred LaFlamme, the publisher of "The Whig Standard" in his Tuesday November 18th column wrote this about the group:

"On another note, I attended the performance by Gerry and the Pacemakers at The Grand Theatre recently and was pleasantly surprised by the opening act, A Bit Of Nostalgia. This versatile trio featuring John Malcolm and his sons Reagan and Ryan...is well worth catching. Strong voices, smooth harmonies and high energy are this local group's hallmarks and it deserves a listen."

Pat Calver of Kitchener Ontario wote this in a letter about a show she saw the trio perform at:

"I must tell you that your trio was "THE BEST" I have ever heard! The talent you three have is INCREDIBLE! We enjoyed the entire performance by all but you are no doubt #1. Thanks for a great evening."
